Ideltech Information was created when three boys went to college. All from the same hometown, but they still barely knew each other. Amboy, WA is where they called home, but Eugene, OR and the University of Oregon is where they got their mail. The first year Marty and Jude chose programming as their major. Marcus was an athlete on a track scholarship. Unfortunately, Marcus tore his ACL and was unable to continue competing before the season ever started. Marty and Jude roomed together, and Marcus lived down the hall. Every night they ended up doing college-age mischief somewhere together.

By their sophomore year the three were all studying programming, and were almost always seen together. Marty was the exciting comedy guy, Jude was the guy who did everyone's homework, and Marcus could talk to girls.

When they picked up their bachelors and in pursuit of their masters Marty was almost expelled for suspicion of cheating, but the investigation found nothing. Marcus represented Marty during the board investigation of the matter. Marcus felt he found his real calling. The ability to convince and negotiate really inspired him.

Now in pursuit of a PHd the trio began to create TOBI. The program was meant to be a search bot filled with artificial intelligence. The artificial intelligence was extremely predictable and boring. Jude wanted to expand on the idea to Genetic Algorithms.

GA is a search method based on population of solutions. The more advanced solutions will be selected to be parents of the next generation. The more advanced selected parents will be improved using so called genetic operators. So the results became the next generation's population. This cycle repeats until the answer is found or some criteria is accomplished. Unfortunately Genetic Algorithms was not enough. So the trio decided the program can start as an Extremely Autonomous Agent. An Extremely Autonomous Agent is a hybrid expert system neural network AI with genetic algorithm "growth" capabilities. Much research was done to get information on the Neural Network and Expert Systems and TOBI was born.

For some reason the results during searching were still average at best. The deadline was close and the project was about to be a failure. Marty took the program and locked himself in his room for days. When he came out, the group decided to test TOBI out on a classmate they all wanted to know more about.

When they put just a name in TOBI was off and hunting for information. The amount of information they received was astounding. They had information they would of never had thought could be found even by the most expensive and thorough investigators in business. Unfortunately four hours after the experiment the three were detained by the federal government. TOBI had “cracked” a Croatian government's computer during its search.

Forty-Four hours later the men were released. They had explained how the mistake occurred. The three were still dropped from the University of Oregon . The University told the three their reckless behavior hurt school credibility. Their instructor, Dr. William Roddington, was also released as a result of the experiment.

Five weeks later the group had developed Ideltech Information, and put TOBI to corporate use. Many investors needed information about land, products, companies, or reputations before spending large sums of money to receive uncertain results. TOBI made many Fortune 500 companies even more successful.

On the first of the year Ideltech Information had an unusual visitor from the Department of Defense. The government wanted to recruit the service of Ideltech Information to fight the War on Terror. TOBI was the key America was looking for. After a short negotiation the price of $76 million dollars funds Ideltech Information for the next four years.

A new office is being constructed in Aloha, OR . With the new building Ideltech is hiring up to 450 people world wide to help fight the War on Terror from home. The new building is meant to house the government officials who are sorting out the information Ideltech obtains.
