TOBI is the worlds most capable, self-writing, artificial intelligence search-bot the world has ever seen. Using TOBI in his complete form is so capable at finding information we needed to break the program up and keep it monitored by real people to make sure the bot is not breaking any security laws. TOBI has been used by Fortune 500 Companies to find information on investment opportunities the companies desire.
Recently the Federal Government decided it needed the service of more private companies. Ideltech Information was recruited in this process at the price tag of $76 million. TOBI will now be fighting the "war on terror".
February 06, 2004 Ideltech Information will be hiring 450 people around the world to help monitor TOBI as he finds information to fight the "war on terror". Salaries will start at $27,000 per year. For more information go to employment opportunities.
February 10, 2004 Ground breaking ceremony for Ideltech Informations new building were held today in Aloha, Oregon. The building should be finished in July. The building will house the network of computers and TOBI for people all over the world to use via direct connection to Ideltech Servers.
February 18, 2004 TOBI was demostrated today at the Job Fairs on the Washington State University Campus. Marty Manson, and Marcus Thesburg attended to show new college hopefuls that they could fight the war on terror from their own home. Over the last year TOBI has learned how to output information, not only gather it. Yesterday TOBI showed the crowd it could answer almost all questions with remarkable speed. The dialogue with TOBI impressed many as Ideltech Informations had over a hundred applicants during the two hour exhibit.
February 25, 2004 TOBI is learning to see. TOBI was hooked up to a camera and attempted to understand the images. This process was initially difficult as the images he sees aren't the same images we see. Trying to make sense of what he is seeing is more difficult since he has no reference to what a book is, or how an arm should look. But, after five hours, TOBI digitally recreated the book, and then started reciting it on the speaker. Jude Williams believes TOBI was trying to give information about the object. TOBI mistook the book as an item the program was supposed to find information about. Since the book was never opened, TOBI must have found the content of the book via the world wide web. When the project started, TOBI's web access was closed and the remarkable point is TOBI opened it. Unfortunately this discovery has led us to trying to find a way to make sure TOBI asks permission before using those services. For now TOBI will be shut down from any network, until a solution can be found.
March 1, 2004 An information company [name witheld at government request] has recently offered $105 million dollars cash for the rights and ownership of TOBI on February 27th. Ideltech denied the offer and told the company TOBI was not for sale. Marty replied, "In the age of information, information is money, and money is power. So why give up the best income and power potential the world has ever seen?"
March 5, 2004 The foundation is complete at the Aloha, OR site. The building will be framed in the following week. Construction is projected to be complete in June 2004.
March 16, 2004 Ideltech Information received another large bid for TOBI. The bid came from the same company which submitted the $105 million dollar bid the 1st of March. This bid was for $190 million dollars cash, and approximately $44 million in overseas stocks. The bid was turned down again, and Ideltech Information is seeking representation to put more legal safeguards on the rights of TOBI.
April 1, 2004 Part 1 of the interview process begins. 450 positions will be filled by the 509 applicants. All part 1's must be submitted April 7th, midnight Zulu Time.
May 3, 2004 Marty Manson began the “War on Terror” campaign in Europe with a bang by finding 200 new applicants for Ideltech Information. The convention was held in Frankfurt Hilton Monday at the 4th Annual International Job Fair. The effort was to find more bi-lingual and foreign language specialists.
May 7, 2004 After an other companies various attempts of obtaining TOBI through high priced offers and threats, Ideltech Information has retained the law firm of Landau, Luckman, and Lake.
